There were dreams practically all night and all morning long until waking, right
around 7:30 AM (CDT.)
(And yes, there had been two wake-ups to let the dog out, but that may have been
for me as well. All I can tell you is, we sorta "wake up together" and both
take advantage of the opportunity for a "nature break.")
One other dream that occurred (other than the two in the subject line) involved
the dreamer pushing something like a "rollator walker" but at a rather fast
rate, faster than walking, faster than a leisure bicycle ride, slower than a
motorcycle, yet it did involve some type of foot-leg-powered action to get from
point A to point B.
The dreamer was traveling along Old Lascassas Road, having traveled along Brown
Drive, out of the apartments there, and turned right (northward) along Old
Lascassas, toward Oakland High School (which is about 2 miles further) when the
dreamer realized the destination in mind was actually *south* along Old
Lascassas, towards Greenland Drive and MTSU, and that all the distance traveled
so far (maybe Πto ? of a mile?) was not only in the wrong direction, but would
need to be repeated just to get back to where heading in the right direction
would begin.
At this point, the dreamer is completely on foot, at a walking pace alongside
the eastern side of the road (heading south, on the left side of the road) and
notices a vehicle heading north (on the vehicle's right side of the road, the
eastern side) towards the dreamer, and the dreamer has to step back away from
the road to avoid getting splashed from the oncoming vehicle, as the surface of
the road appears to be covered in mud.
As the vehicle passes, there's a large spray of water from the vehicle's (right,
passenger side) tires, but the dreamer is pretty much far enough back so as to
avoid getting wet. There's a sense that the dreamer *may* have gotten a bit
wet, but just barely, as the majority of the spray had been avoided.
Regardless, there was no "sensation of having gotten wet," no sensation of wet
clothes or wet face, skin, nada.
The dreamer is about to head south again, when this time a big rig ("semi" /
"18-wheeler") is coming along the road, which is more like the New Lascassas
Highway rather than the Old Lascassas Road.
The dreamer stays back further because the big rig may throw off a larger spray.
After it passes, the dreamer is thinking that it would help if the traffic were
slower at that particular point (which appared to have a single traffic light at
a (simple) intersection there) when another big rig is coming by, only it's
slowed up, and comes to a standstill, as there seems to be some type of
congestion in the intersection from other vehicles, as if you might see at a
busy intersection with no light and no traffic cop directing. There was no
obvious sign of a wreck, but more like the traffic had backed up, as you might
see along the interstate during "rush hour" where no one actually goes anywhere.
At that point, the dream ended, around clarity 8+.
Balloon Battle:
The dreamer has an elongated balloon, perhaps 2œ'3' in length and maybe 4" in
diameter, and it has a pale color to it, perhaps reddish, and "he" is in an area
similar to the covered entrance of a grander motel or possibly a hospital (a
"portico") where people can pull in, and drop off someone under the covered
porch area, then drive off to park elsewhere. It may have actually been a
hospital, because an ambulance was seen there (from the perspective of being on
the entrance-side of the portico, seeing the backside of the ambulance that's
aimed to go out the exit side) but it could also have been any building with a
portico that just happened to have an ambulance outside the entrance (which was
to the right of the ambulance and the dreamer's perspective.)
There's also a female present, with the aura of a doctor / medical professional
(or a nurse with greater authority than the typical nurse) and she looks similar
to Gina (from my real life past, my "soulmate," someone who actually exists in
real life) yet her identity in the dream is somehow not the issue. (Later in
the day, it became apparent that this dream may well have been regarding a
theological debate / banter of words with a female member of the JW cult, who
actually does a good job of defending her cult, but has no actual reasoning
ability of her own.)
She's facing the dreamer, the dreamer facing her, with a distance of perhaps
10'20' between them, and she *also* has a (pale but differently colored
reddish/orangish?) balloon in her hands, in the sense of "she's also armed with
a balloon."
The dreamer (barely) hears something, possibly just a thought, possibly the
female, saying, "Do you want to fight or..." (with the choice being between
romance or battle) and the dreamer apparently chooses battle, and closes in as
they start comically whacking away at each other with their balloons.
It only takes 2 or 3 whacks before the dreamer's mind shifts to being enamored
of the woman, and the dream immediately slows to a halt and stops, clarity 99+.
In the dream before waking, the dreamer is at something like an apartment
complex, where the rooms are identical in layout, even though one apartment may
be a floor above another.
The dreamer is in the perspective of myself back when I was a father to Charles,
who is in the dream as in his 6-year-old self (or thereabouts.) The discussion
focuses on how "in the past," something "woulda been" [this way rather than that
way] (like on the first floor apartment rather than the second, or possibly
vice-versa) and someone (Charles?? The narrative mind of the dream?) brings out
how the dreamer had spoken a sentence that edits to a more precise focus by
omitting an unnecessary word (like "just" or "coulda" some type of filler
word.)
IF I had typed this one up *first* the actual wording could've been recorded
"verbatim," rather than generalized (as it has been.) However, after typing up
the first two, along with taking a break for breakfast & hygiene, it has
evaporated to the point I was barely able to remember this much. Clarity
(originally) 99+.
