In the "primary dream" of the evening, the dreamer was viewing a type of exoskeletal armor, most likely defensive in nature: It was mostly like a clear shell, which one wore much like pulling over a sweater (I seem to recall someone taking it *off* prior to anyone putting it *on*) that had a peculiar type of clear-view diving helmet (cowl?) that fit over the head & neck, sort of as how one could use it to go underwater if necessary, yet see and be seen from all directions. (Note: *"clear"*.)
The thought that anyone wearing this outfit might likely sweat to death, and "behold," a tube was visible that ran up the front of the suit (never quite spotted the back end of the suit) of about ¾"–1" diameter (closer to ¾") that also had something of a fan-like function to it, apparently, up into the visor-helmet, so as to provide something akin to air-conditioning (fresh air) to the person in the suit.
The legs of the outfit were padded along the front, somewhat like leather leggings, which would have been most useful for someone doing things like rock climbing, although I hesitate to think of anyone using such an outfit for rock climbing!
The dreamer seems to be "game" to wear the outfit then play a campus-level game of "hide & seek" although it's more like for some higher stakes, such as either ownership of the suit, or possibly something even more significant. (If it were a life-or-death level stakes, such were not *clearly* heard within the dialogue, which was rather "quiet" / background type information.) There was, however, some type of time frame established, such that the present time had to be reckoned (somewhere around 3:40 PM?) and that the dreamer (in the suit) had until the top of the hour to go hide (being around 4 PM) with the hunters having 1 hour to search (ending the game at 5 PM.)
Now, all I can say from my own perspective is, affixing a concept such as clock time within a dream *may* be a "tricky matter." I think the clock / time frame of the game had to be repeated / clarified at *least* twice, seeming more like 3 times before it was "set" to "Go."
There were two other details involved in this dream, of having to do with at least 3 cellphones and also a car and a set of keys. It is *possible* that these elements were a function of watching a TV episode of "Psych" last night that was particularly entertaining: "Last Night Gus" (S6E2): imdb.com/title/tt2025155 (apparently, one of *the best* user-rated episodes of the series.)
Two cellphones were of golden-brass (likely brushed metal) in appearance and a third was dark, similar to a blackberry model, but all 3 seemed to be *basically* flip phones (rather than "smart phones," which are like telecommunicative tablets) and *none* of them seemed like the dreamer's actual phone, which felt as if someone else had possibly held it while the dreamer was putting on the suit, and either consciously or subconsciously failed to return it.
There was also a matter of the dreamer's car and car keys, *both* of which appeared to be missing. (Again, *much* of that cars, keys, and cellphones routine *may well likely* have been the consequence of S6E2 of the TV series, "Psych" that was watched last night.)
Regardless, the dreamer had it in mind to somehow aim for a particular "hiding spot," having somewhere to do with the north-eastern border of MTSU in Murfreesboro (along East Main Street) — an area that is *somewhat* collegiate in appearance, yet has, in places, a full block of quiet homes and small shops, as well as a wooded area near the Cope Admin building and the President's home.
Here is where things get a bit awkward: it seems that since the dreamer's car was unavailable, [he] may have accepted a ride from someone else. The driver (and possibly another passenger in the front right seat) were heading along a road, *possibly* US 231 South (toward Shelbyville) although precisely where they were, or headed, seems a bit fuzzy, although the dreamer realized that to get back to where he had previously mapped out as a hiding place, the driver needed to do a U-turn at that moment, where the road type would allow it rather easily.
The driver of the car, however, either didn't "hear" the dreamer, or was ignoring him, or had something else on his mind, or was possibly of *no* mind to speak of. Regardless, the dreamer looked ahead and saw a left turn approaching, that would lead (back) to the pre-planned spot.
No go. The driver just kept on keeping on, as if he were alone in the car.
For whatever reason, the process of "astral combat" occurred, and the dreamer wrapped his right arm around the driver's head & neck and grabbed with a kind of twisting/squeezing motion that somehow slipped off the head & neck of the driver, with the result being that yes, the car came to a stop, but the driver was traumatically crying / sobbing / weeping, as if from a *deep* hurt, and the dreamer apologized for having to use such a (strong?) approach / method, but that was where that particular dream segment ended, and I have no idea of whatever happened to the suit, nor to any of the characters in that dream.
The "ashtray coin" was someone showing the dreamer a round, silver-ish astray of about a 4" diameter (± around ½") that had a clearly visible image of a U.S. coin, such as a silver dollar, circa late 1800s to early-mid 1900s, that was presumably around 1 ounce of .9999 pure silver. Of course, in a dream, it *could* have represented 1 ounce of "pure" silver, but that's a tad beside the point: The coin had been pressed / flattened, and shaped so as to present as a (shallow rimmed) ash tray.
The person presenting the coin-tray appeared much as a 50s-aged (yet dark haired) business type (Caucasian) yet the dreamer was pondering more along the lines of "What a shame" that a coin had been smashed into an ashtray, yet appreciative of the artistic effort that had been expressed as an ashtray.
Then there was the issue regarding A) the price of silver and B) the sales value of the ash tray. Regardless, the dreamer seemed to decline touching or accepting the tray, and the dream ended, clarity 9-ish.
Collections:
The dreamer was as if taking part in a church service (of sorts) regarding the paying of the tithe. Specifically, the dreamer folded two paper bills (currency) and, rather than dropping them into a passed plate, walked up an aisle to a location where the bills were dropped into / at a collection area.
There was a follow-up segment as if the dreamer were taking up someone else's tithe *for* them, much as a younger person might carry forth the tithe of a much older person, who has less mobility or some other issue, such that the (younger) dreamer could perform the service, much as an act of respect to one's elder(s.)
There was yet a third segment, only the previous collection area seemed to have gone away, so the dreamer went off toward the right wall of the "sanctuary" (the worship area where the pews are aligned) and through something like a gap / doorway an into a side room.
This room was far more "busy" in nature, with rather long lines of tables running in a fashion parallel to the wall/gap the dreamer had just passed through.
The (white-top) tables were like regular, modular tables laid end-to-end, much like how one lines up a pot-luck buffet, only these had LOTS and LOTS of "stuff" on them. There was *so much* little stuff (like the chachka / tchotchke one might encounter at a yard sale) that these tables were simply ignored, as the dreamer sought to find the place where the tithe was to be deposited. The dream ended, clarity 9-, although there was a scene *either in this dream or some other* wherein a person had an "over-sized" bill, similar to the size printed before the advent of the US Federal Reserve Note, similar to the size printed during the Civil War, which basically consisted of "certificates" of value of some sort. The dreamer had a distinct thought that this over-sized bill was a "newer" form of currency, and that included a thought that the "newer" sized bill would require people to buy new wallets to hold the new design, and along with that, different-sized clothes, etc., which brought to mind the "jizya" of "jihad", the extortion funds charged against non-Muslims ("Kafirs") for living.
"Cat pounce" was something of a short dream much later in the morning. I'd already let the dog out around 5:30-ish, and possibly even after 7 AM after having done something else and returned for a morning nap. Because of the time gap between when the dream occurred and now (11:53 AM-11:59) as I'm typing this up, editing, posting, there's really only one element that can be even vaguely remembered, that being, a person (at something like the camera's right) facing left, and something like a cat (from the left) pouncing upon the face on the right.
Rather than an action like a cat attack, it was more like a fun thing. It was around clarity 7+ / 8- when it first occurred, but at this point (after evaporation, etc.) it's more like a clarity 6.
